ZAMBIA MISSION

WHAT WE DO
As a church we have been involved in Zambia for 8 years. We have partnered with a local project called "Sambaland". Sambaland is a ministry led by the Samba family to a local village called Ngwenya in the Livingstone district. We are involved in several projects. The Sambaland farm produces vegetables and eggs for feeding schemes for the elderly and children in the village. We feed approximately 150 children twice a week in a local school in the village. Our goal for 2020 is to plant a local church on the Sambaland farm to provide spiritual food and support to the local community. Practical work around the farm is also required.
We have two trips per year to Sambaland during the first and second term school holidays. Each trip focuses on preaching and teaching the gospel through sports and feeding schemes. We run a soccer and netball clinic which is then followed by a feeding scheme. In addition, we minister in local churches and do street ministry in the local village. Occasionally we facilitate an evangelical outreach into the community.

WAYS TO SERVE
PRACTICAL | Join a mission team to Zambia - Maximum 12 people per trip. We do two trips per year in March/April and June/July. The duration of these trips is from 10 to 14 days.

FINANCIAL | We support the full-time mission team in Zambia. The annual budget is R120,000.00.
The church plant is going to cost R350,000.00.
You can fully or part-sponsor a person that is joining the mission's team.

MOZAMBIQUE MISSION

WHAT'S IT ABOUT
In 2007, Wynand Jordaan, left his IT profession to serve full time at Africa for Christ Ministries in Mozambique. Africa for Christ is a non-denominational missions organisation focusing on planting churches by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples. They have planted 12 churches and have three mission bases. The mission trip will be to the Chicoroa base and typically includes daily devotionals, outreach in the local marketplace, door-to-door ministry, hospital and prison ministry, praying for the elderly, bible studies, practical work around the base, Sunday school for kids, intercession and worship.

WAYS TO SERVE
PRACTICAL | Join a mission team to Mozambique - Maximum 10 people per trip. We do two trips per year in March/April and June/July. The duration of this mission trip is from 10 to 14 days.
FINANCIAL | We are contributing towards various projects to assist the vision and work of Africa for Christ. We are aiming to contribute RS0,000.00 per annum.
